Prophecy of the Lantern Raven
As recorded in the Ashen Verses of the Stone-Faced Circle
“When the lantern sways without wind, and the sigil burns with the breath of the dead, the Black-Eyed Watcher shall descend. One by one, the footprints will fade,
until none remain but the one who lingers. On the night the moon hides her face, the Watcher will speak thrice — once for the lost, once for the bound, and once for the one who dares to answer. Answer true, and the forest will open its oldest path. Answer false… and the stones will remember your name.”
